A local handyman team across Ontario focused on tidy work, honest timescales and a price agreed before anything starts.
We are a locally owned handyman company built on honest quoting, careful work, and follow-through after the van pulls away. From the first estimate to the final sweep-up, you know what is being done, why it is being done, and what it costs.

Our mission is simple: make every home in Ontario work properly again. We do that by fixing the actual cause instead of the symptom, using fixings and materials that hold under real load, and leaving the place cleaner than a job site has any right to be. Integrity, clear pricing, and work that lasts guide every call we take.

Handyman work is the trade where a shortcut looks fine on the day and fails six months later. That is why we stand for:

From a single sticking door to a full room refresh, Handyman Ontario handles every part of the job in-house — assessment, materials, the work itself, and the clean-up — so you are not chasing three trades to finish one list. That covers drywall repair, furniture assembly, TV mounting, deck and fence repair, interior painting, and emergency handyman services.
No matter the size of the job, you get the same crew, the same written price before we start, and the same swept-up, checked-over finish from the first call to the final walkthrough.

Homeowners across Ontario trust Handyman Ontario because we treat a squeaking hinge with the same care as a full kitchen refit. Whether it is a ten-minute fix or a three-day list, the approach does not change: look at the real job, explain it plainly, price it in writing, and clean up before we go.
Straight answers before you book Handyman Ontario
Yes. Handyman Ontario carries full liability insurance and every person we send is covered on every visit. You are welcome to ask for our insurance details before any work starts — a contractor who hesitates at that question is telling you something. For the trades that legally require a licence, such as gas or major electrical work, we will tell you plainly that it needs a licensed specialist rather than taking it on.
Small jobs are most of what we do. There is a one-hour minimum, which is simply the cost of getting a van and a person to your door, and most people use that hour well by adding the other three things that have been sitting on the list. If your job genuinely takes twenty minutes we will tell you and suggest what else we could sort out while we are there.
We cover Ontario and the surrounding communities, and our service area page lists every city and neighbourhood we book work in. If you are just outside it, call anyway — we will either schedule you or tell you honestly that you are better served by someone closer, rather than adding a travel charge to the bottom of your invoice.
Quotes are free and they come in writing. For anything beyond a straightforward repair a handyman looks at the actual job rather than guessing over the phone, then gives you a firm number with the scope written out line by line. The figure on that quote is the figure on the invoice unless you ask us to add work, and there is no obligation to book.
The person who quoted your job is the one who does it. We do not hand booked work to a subcontracted crew you have never spoken to, which is why the person who talked through the plan is the same person who checks the list with you before packing up. On bigger jobs you may get a second pair of hands working alongside them, never instead of them.
We can do either. Most people ask us to supply, in which case materials appear as a separate line on the quote at what they cost us plus a stated markup, with no surprises at the end. If you would rather buy your own, that is genuinely fine — just tell us before the visit so we can check you have the right fixings, because the wrong ones are the single most common reason a job cannot be finished on the day.
You call us and we come back. Our workmanship is warrantied for a year and Handyman Ontario honours it regardless of which of our team did the original work, so there is no argument about who is responsible. If a fitting or fixture we supplied fails inside its manufacturer warranty, we handle the replacement claim as well rather than sending you to the supplier.
